General info for setting up your own system
🎧 We strongly advise the use of a headset or a special external microphone. The closer the microphone is to your mouth, the better your statements can be received acoustically good.
🔇 The audio signal that you receive from the broadcasting location should not be played over loudspeakers.
❗ If you do not have a special headset that is connected via USB or sound card, please use at least a simple telephone headset.
☀️ Please also prevent backlighting by e.g. bright windows in the background.
➡️ Please do not participate by smartphone, the best case is:
Laptop or PC with webcam mounted at your eye level.
Installed APP of the service used or correct browser (depending on the note Connection Service in the header of this page).
🔌 Please use a wired connection to your router during sessions if possible.
The most common reason for line failures or fluctuations is not the internet connection itself, but the WiFi connection

⇒We can connect you with the stage, for the optimal sound and a good optics you have to provide yourself, we have unfortunately no options for optimization.

Will I be seen and heard as a RemoteSpeaker immediately after clicking on the link?
No. Normally we will see you very quickly in the control room, but only switch to the screen and speakers when you are addressed by the actors on stage.
It may also be possible to chat with the technician in the control room.
If you enter the meeting and see a live image from the room, everything is fine.
Please keep the chat window in view and your camera on.
As a RemoteSpeaker, how can I tell that I can be seen?
Depending on the setup on site, you will receive a camera shot in which you can see the screen on site.
Can I send a screen share?
Yes, as soon as you start your screen sharing, it will only be displayed in full screen until you end your sharing again.
Depending on the course of your presentation, your camera image may be displayed in parallel.
Do I need 2 displays when I send a screen share?
It is an advantage and makes your work easier:
One display for sharing your presentation and mouse, and on the 2nd display you can see the connection software, the chat and the return image from the location.
